Well Wellow 10k 2024

What is Well Wellow 10k? This fun endurance event is open to both runners and walkers alike.

The route will take you round the rural footpaths and country lanes of this historic village, once home to Florence Nightingale.

The purpose of this event is to promote physical activity, enjoying the great outdoors and to raise much-needed funds for charity Against Breast Cancer. All proceeds after expenses will go to the charity.

All finishers who have entered prior to the closing date will receive a medal. However, as this a non-competitive event, there will be no chip-timing or prizes for the first finishers.

When? 14:00 - 16:30, Sunday 23rd June, 2024.

Bring the family - For young children there will also be a chance to join in a short kiddies run (entry on on the day for this).

Entry cost - The cost of entry is £10 for adult. £5 for under 12's. All participants under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

Please note that Sales Platform websites add their own booking charge onto this price, which does is not paid to the organiser.

Refunds - As one of the primary functions of the event is to raise as much money as possible for charity and our budget is extremely tight, we will not be able to offer refunds.

Closing date - This will the 23/05/2024. However, if you miss this date you may still be able to enter if we have not yet reached capacity figures. But we may not be able to provide you with a medal if you enter after the closing date.

We would like the event be safe and enjoyable for all, therefore number of participants is restricted to 200.

Buggies and wheelchairs - The route includes very narrow footpaths, uneven fields and kissing gates - therefore would not be safe for buggies and wheelchairs.

Dogs - While this is a lovely dog walking route at other times, dogs may present an additional trip risk with a large number of people on the course. For this reason, we ask that you do not bring your dog on this occasion.
